Project Details:

Working with Jeff Pounds in 2017 was for both of us testing the waters by trying something new. He had never shot a boudoir photo shoot, I had never modeled in one. Jeff reached out to me about collaborating, because he wanted to try creating something that was much different than the family style photo shoots he normally gets paid professionally for.

Jeff's perspective with photography is that "I don't think it has never been more important to capture the memories of what is meaningful and the images of those we treasure."

Participating in this project took me outside my comfort zone, explored my sense of self worth, and helped me expand my own sense of meaning with what I represent. This timid photo shoot captures a time where I felt stuck, trapped, and was looking to explore. This photo shoot was a journey of professional personal growth as I further began to develop what it would mean to represent myself.
